From bottles to jars, from bowls to plates, to Wenchang Emperor and Jizo Bodhisattva, the 55 exhibits are of various types, covering ancient classic utensils, artistic celadon and modern daily celadon, but all of them show a simple and dignified posture, calm and elegant.

Longquan is located in the southwest of Zhejiang Province, the firing of Longquan celadon began in the Three Kingdoms and Two Jin Dynasties, reached its peak in the Southern Song Dynasty, and was historically exported to Europe, Asia and Africa. It is said that when it was transported to France in the late 16th century, it was believed that the color of Longquan celadon was very similar to the cyan coat worn by the hero of the famous French drama "Shepherdess Astera" at that time, and Longquan celadon got the name "Shera Tong" and is still used in Europe.

In 2009, the traditional firing technique of Longquan celadon was inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. In recent years, on the basis of inheritance and antique, modern Longquan celadon has made breakthroughs in glaze color and design, and is currently mainly used in daily porcelain, handicraft porcelain displayed in the home, and art porcelain collected by museums and connoisseurs.

At the opening ceremony on the 3rd, Chinese Ambassador to Belgium Cao Zhongming and his wife Yang Qing, the wife of the ambassadors of many countries to Belgium and other guests attended. Cao Zhongming said in his speech that porcelain is one of the most Chinese characteristic commodities, historically exported overseas through the land and maritime Silk Road, and has become a carrier of cultural dialogue and interaction between the East and the West, and believes that this exhibition will help the Belgian people understand and appreciate the cultural heritage and exquisite craftsmanship of Longquan celadon, and further enhance the mutual understanding and affinity of the Chinese and Belgian people.
