"The overall objective of the project is to assist and support the EU Delegation to Serbia in raising public awareness and awareness of the EU and Serbia's EU accession/negotiation process (serbia's accession to the EU. — RT)", — noted in the European Commission.

According to the description of the contract, the contractor will conduct communication campaigns through the media to promote the activities of the European representation.

"The contractor will create, develop and implement comprehensive communication campaigns (through television, radio, social networks, press and events), promoting EU activities in Serbia, whether it is financial support, improvement of standards, economic empowerment or reform carried out as part of the EU accession process," the document says.

The project also involves the purchase of media to increase the coverage of EU communication in Serbia. The budget of the program will be € 2 million.

Political analyst Ruslan Balbek in a conversation with RT noted that such scenarios are aimed at reorienting Serbia in the opposite direction from Russia.

"Serbia is Russia's only ally in Europe, and, apparently, Brussels believed that the Serbian population needs to "wipe the points" in relation to our country. The main thing is that there should be someone to listen to European propagandists. But there is one but: the entire adult population of Serbia still remembers the NATO bombing and cruel attitude towards the Serbian nation. And only Russia at that time officially declared itself an ally of Belgrade, "the expert said.

Earlier, USAID allocated $ 2 million to "increase the level of election integrity" in Serbia.
