The disappearance of Tunisian President Kais Saied for more than 10 days without conducting an official activity or a field visit to one of the regions sparked a wide controversy on the platforms, coinciding with the confirmation of activists and opponents that he was exposed to a health crisis that required him to stay in the military hospital, amid the silence of the government and official agencies.

The official Facebook page of the presidency shows that the president's last appearance was on March 22, followed by a statement about a phone call the next day with the Emir of Kuwait on the occasion of the month of Ramadan.

The publication of the page raised the Tunisian president's decision to dismiss the governor of the state of Gabes last Thursday without his appearance raised the doubts of followers about his health, and who manages the affairs of the state in his "absence", especially since he did not receive the credentials of the Brazilian ambassador as stipulated in the protocol, and was received by Foreign Minister Nabil Ammar.

While no official body has published details of the unusual disappearance of the highest hierarchy of power, activists and politicians confirmed that Saied suffered a health crisis that forced him to stay in the military hospital for treatment.

The media Mekdad Mejri in a video posted on Facebook a number of details, saying, "I put my honor on this information, amid secrecy about the status of the president and the policy of the palace based on dark rooms force us to talk about the subject I confirm that the president is a resident of the military hospital in the resuscitation department for days has been exposed to light strokes, and he has been suffering for years from heart failure and pneumonia."

Yassine Ayari, a former MP and son of military officer Tahar Ayari, wrote: "Severe illness resulting from a serious heart attack of the type of atrial fibrillation with shortness of breath and lack of oxygen."

Former Foreign Minister Rafik Abdeslam commented, "The Carthage Palace is empty on its thrones except for the presidential security, the man is lying in the military hospital and there are no more films and hoaxes, and may God release all believers."

Riad Chouaibi, political adviser to Ennahda president, asked, "Don't Tunisians have the right to get an official explanation about the reasons for the absence of the head of state 10 days ago? With rumors circulating about the president's health, why doesn't the government publish an official denial of them? "But if the president is already facing some health impediments to carrying out his duties, who is running the country now?"

Human rights defender Naziha Rejiba, who opposes the Ben Ali regime, said, "You have the right to ask about Said, who holds all powers unjustly: where is he, and who is the one who rules? And ask about the possibilities of vacancy and succession, this is not a shame, not forbidden, this is one of your most basic rights as citizens in a tired, exhausted country, and monitored by conspiracies and ambitions at home and abroad."

Political activist Jamal al-Din al-Hani called on those he considered "legitimate deputies" who were removed by presidential order to return to parliament and prepare for the vacancy hypothesis, and considered that the "political" arrests that took place were aimed at preparing for the vacancy of the presidency and the alternative to Kais Saied.

On the other hand, media professionals and activists demanded to reveal the truth about the president's health status, and journalist Khawla Boukrim launched the hashtag "O government of Seib information", stressing that she went to the military hospital and did not notice the presence of any security or military reinforcements that ostensibly indicate the presence of the head of state, as happened during the stay of the late President Beji Caid Essebsi in the same hospital.

Academic Adel Latifi published the constitutional chapters related to the vacancy, and asked, "Where is the president? If he is temporarily unable to carry out his duties - and this is normal - let him apply his constitution, there is nothing more dangerous for the state than the state of legitimacy vacuum, give us information about our situation, where are we? Respect this people, countries are not people."
