Russia's military invasion of Ukraine continues.

Missile attack on a city in Eastern Donetsk Oblast, killing 6 residents

It seems that the battle zone of Bakhmut and its surroundings in and around Donetsk Oblast in eastern Ukraine are continuing to be fought in a flurry of battles.

On the 2nd, the head of the Ukrainian presidential office Yermak announced on social media that multiple missile attacks by Russian forces in Kostyančinivka, about 20 kilometers west of Bakhmut, killed six residents and injured eight others.

One year after the recapture of Bucha and other places, President Zelensky "liberates all territories"

President Zelensky posted on social media on the 2nd that "the first battle and defense, the first achievement, the first liberated territory" and stressed that it will be one year since the recapture of the entire Kyiv region, including Bucha and Irpin near the capital.

He then renewed his determination to retake territories in the east and south, saying, "We will liberate all territories, fly the Ukrainian flag everywhere, and we will do everything in our power to reclaim Ukraine."

Russia to hold summit meeting with Belarus to exchange views on the deployment of nuclear weapons

Russian state media reported that a summit meeting is scheduled to be held on the 6th of the previous day in conjunction with a meeting to strengthen cooperation between Russia and Belarus in Moscow on the 5th of this month, and views are also expected to be exchanged on the deployment of nuclear weapons in Belarus.
