【Commentary】Ma Yingjeou, who returned to his ancestral home for the first time, choked up several times when he read the ancestral texts and was interviewed, wiping tears from time to time. He said that although he had never met his grandfather, he had always wanted to worship his ancestors. Seeing my grandfather's grave today, I was very touched in my heart, and my wish for many years was fulfilled. He also said that "prudence in pursuing the long term, and people's morality is generous" is a very important part of our Chinese moral education.

【Commentary】The tomb of Majiazu is located between a flat rice field surrounded by rolling hills, and is guarded by two green cypresses. It is understood that the cemetery was built in 1928, after nearly a hundred years of ups and downs, the overall shape and style are well preserved. Buried here is Mr. Ma Ying-jeou's grandfather, Ma Li'an, and the tombstone is inscribed in the center: "The Tomb of the Elder of Hsien Khao Ma Gong Daji".

【Commentary】At about 10 a.m., Ma Ying-jeou and his family arrived at Shuangyang Village, and then followed the field path to the ancestral tomb. Ma Ying-jeou walked to the tomb, touched the perimeter of the tomb, and gazed at the tombstone affectionately.

【Commentary】Bidding farewell to the ancestral tomb, Ma Ying-jeou and his family went to Yidu in front of the temple gate located in Tankou Village, Baishi Town. Yidu in front of the temple gate was built during the Xianfeng period of the Qing Dynasty, but was stagnant due to financial reasons. In 1910, Ma Ying-jeou's grandfather Ma Li'an and other local villagers raised funds to continue the construction, and after the completion of the ferry terminal, free ferry to the business travelers, benefiting one party.
