The government announced this Saturday the postponement of the end of the printing of the receipt to August 1, 2023. The date was originally set for January 1. The executive justified its decision by invoking inflation and the maintenance of this "benchmark" in this period of rising prices.

The end of the systematic printing of receipts, initially planned from January 1 but postponed twice since, will finally occur on August 1, according to a decree published Saturday in the Official Journal.

The government had justified these successive postponements because of inflation, considering it preferable to temporarily keep this "benchmark" in this period of waltz prices.
