Two men and two women have died in a traffic accident recorded on Saturday morning in the Lugo municipality of Xove, in which the driver of the car has also been injured.
As reported by the Civil Guard, the incident occurred at 09.40 hours on Saturday at kilometer point 1,100 of the LUP-2604 road, where a tourism in which five people were traveling, all of them young, suffered a road exit and ended up falling down a ravine.
The fatalities are two men and two women, all of them neighbors of Ribadeo (Lugo) and among which there are minors, according to sources of the emergency device consulted by Europa Press.
The driver has been the only survivor of the accident, although he is in serious condition. The emergency services have confirmed that, once stabilized, he has been evacuated to the Lucus Augusti hospital in the provincial capital by the professionals of Urxencias Sanitarias 061.
The vehicle left the road in a sharp curve and ended up rushing through a height of between three and four meters to end up inside a private estate, as confirmed to Europa Press by the councilor of Xove, Demetrio Salgueiro.
