The Colombian singer Shakira will travel in the coming days from Barcelona, where she currently lives, to Miami, to settle permanently in this city in the United States, as reported Friday Vanitatis.
Shakira, who resides in the Catalan capital since 2011, the year in which her romance with footballer Gerard Piqué was made public, which ended in marriage, announced that she was separating from her husband on June 4 and shortly after expressed her desire to move to Miami with her two children.
The trip has been delayed several times by the need to reach an agreement with Gerard Piqué on the custody of their children and by the health problems of Shakira's parents, who live in Barcelona and also intend to move to Miami.
According to the aforementioned Internet newspaper dedicated to the social chronicle, the Colombian artist has already managed to overcome all obstacles and will settle in Miami between this weekend and the first days of next week.
