"It all depends on our perception, on how we see reality. In all cases associated with child cruelty, we see that children, among other things, do not have enough life experience, they do not have a well-developed thinking, they are often not able to build cause-and-effect relationships, think in stages and weigh the risks from their actions, "the specialist explained.

Often, when a child is asked why he committed this or that cruel act, he cannot give a clear answer, saying that his actions were rash and spontaneous, Naumova added.

"Often children who commit cruel acts are impulsive, unrestrained, their emotional-volitional sphere is poorly developed, as well as the ability to control themselves. Such a child, finding himself in a situation of resentment, "flare up" and cause harm to peers. Sometimes, of course, the reason for his behavior may be curiosity, "the expert stated.

Earlier, "New Omsk" reported an incident with a 10-year-old girl. Her mother went to the police because her daughter came home from school with a wound on her buttocks.

As it turned out, she was injured on the school bus, on which her class was taken to watch the play. In the salon, the girl stood up to look out the window, and, sitting down, she felt pain. On the seat was a folding knife that a classmate had planted.

"In a conversation with a 10-year-old boy, the police found out that he took this knife at home without permission to show friends. I didn't think about the consequences of my action. Previously, the schoolboy was not on preventive registration in the police, "the Omsk Region Department of Internal Affairs said.

According to the police, the condition of the injured girl is assessed as satisfactory.
