Women who have received protected personal data because they have been subjected to violence in close relationships or that they live under threat are a continued vulnerable group in society. This is shown in a new report from the Swedish Agency for Gender Equality, commissioned by the government.

"We see that this group needs long-term and cohesive support. Abused people who live with protected personal data face many difficulties in everyday life, says Sophie Nilsson.

The report mentions that there is a difference in the treatment of different groups in society. Men who have dropped out of criminal environments have better long-term support with coordinated actors and contact persons. Unlike abused women with protected personal data who often depend on the efforts of non-profit organizations.
