"Any ceasefire will mean Russia's right to remain in the occupied territories. This is totally unacceptable. Ukraine has the right to move troops and equipment on its territory as it sees fit," Podolyak wrote on Twitter.

On March 31, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, during a speech with a message to the Belarusian people and the National Assembly, proposed to declare a truce in Ukraine without the right to move troops and weapons on both sides.

Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov admitted that the leaders of Russia and Belarus Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko can discuss Minsk's proposals on Ukraine at a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State.

Earlier, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that the meeting of the HCS with the participation of the presidents of Russia and Belarus is scheduled for April 6.
