The Ministry of Culture of Ukraine announced the refusal of the court not to evict the monks of the UOC from the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra

In his Telegram channel, Tkachenko claims that the court refused to secure a lawsuit from the UOC to the National Reserve "Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra", in which it was required to invalidate the decision to unilaterally abandon the agreement on the free use of the UOC of the structures and property of the Lavra.

At the same time, the information and educational department of the UOC explained that "an application for securing the claim was submitted to the court with a request that during the consideration of the case on the merits against the monastery, illegal actions should not be committed."

"The court groundlessly refused to satisfy the application to secure the claim, but this in no way indicates that the court refused to satisfy the claim, the consideration of which is scheduled for April 26, 2023," the UOC said.

Earlier, the Ukrainian government canceled the order of 2013 on the transfer of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) objects of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.
