A grand jury in Manhattan has voted to indict Donald Trump in a case of buying the silence of an actress of X-movies in 2016, according to several US media. This is the first time in American history that a current or former president will face criminal charges.

The former tenant of the White House should be formally indicted in the coming days by the justice of the State of New York and his prosecutor for Manhattan, Alvin Bragg, for the payment of $ 130,000 to the actress and director of pornographic films Stormy Daniels, reports the New York Times and CNN.
Beyond the scandal that this alleged relationship represents, it could, according to the American media, constitute a violation of the law on election campaigns. This is one of the legal thorns in the side of the former president, who dreams of "regaining" the White House in November 2024.
