"If you mean, let's say, a war in a broad context, this is a confrontation with hostile states, with unfriendly countries, this is a hybrid war that they unleashed against our country, then this is for a long time," Peskov said, answering a question about how the Kremlin assesses the prospects for the end of the special operation.

He also stressed that the prospects for the end of the special operation should be given by specialists who are engaged in the SVO - the Ministry of Defense of Russia.

Peskov noted that there is an absolutely dominant confidence in society that all the goals set for the SVO will be achieved.

Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that the hybrid war against Russia, in fact, is acquiring more and more large-scale and sophisticated forms.

According to him, this hybrid war is being waged by the United States and its group of countries against Russia "recklessly", without calculating the consequences.

In early November, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that only Russia's victory in Ukraine guarantees the prevention of a global conflict.
