The fastest job can be found in the Nizhny Novgorod region - on average for 3.5 months.

The list of regions in which they find work the fastest also includes Moscow (3.8 months), St. Petersburg (four months), moscow region (4.1 months), Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug - Yugra (4.1 months), Kirov region (4.2 months), Tomsk region (4.2 months), Tatarstan (4.3 months), Krasnodar Territory (4.5 months) and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District (4.6 months).

Most of the time to find a job is needed in Karachay-Cherkessia - 13.5 months. Also in the top ten such regions were the Trans-Baikal Territory (10.5 months), the Perm Territory (9.2 months), North Ossetia (8.8 months), the Jewish Autonomous Region (8.6 months), Mordovia (8.5 months), Dagestan (8.4 months), the Kursk Region (8.4 months), the Oryol Region (eight months) and Altai (eight months).

The head of the scientific laboratory "Quantitative methods for studying regional development" of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics Elena Egorova explained such indicators in an interview with RT.

"There is nothing surprising in this. Regions where jobs are found faster are central, developed regions. Moscow, St. Petersburg, Moscow Region and so on. The Moscow Region, firstly, is now developing very well, and secondly, many people go to Moscow to work. This is already an established fact. In Nizhny, too, there is a fairly good development. Still, after Covid, everything is quite decently recovering and against the background of previous indicators, the current ones, of course, will grow. It is impossible not to open hospitals, shops, industrial enterprises and so on. That is, people are needed again - and unemployment is decreasing, "said Egorova.

She also clarified that the "lagging behind" regions were in the last places even in pre-Covid times.

"Of these, there are agricultural regions, and in our time such employment in agriculture, as before, is no longer needed. Therefore, there is no work for everyone, "the expert emphasized.

Earlier, the Central Bank said that unemployment in Russia has updated the historical minimum.
