"To exhaust and weaken Russia, while cynically using Ukraine and turning it into a tool to achieve its unscrupulous goals – this is the strategy chosen for itself by the West," Belik stressed.

As the deputy explained, Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky "threw Ukraine at the feet of the Anglo-Saxons."

"Allowing to make a bargaining chip out of the Ukrainian people and spitting on the colossal losses among the population, which he sends into the crucible of the Ukrainian conflict," the parliamentarian said.

He also noted that the United States and allies are thinking about their benefits and how to prolong the conflict. For this, according to the deputy, they are pumping Ukraine with weapons.

"Realizing that Russia cannot be broken, the Anglo-Saxons resort to new methods, no longer hiding their direct participation in the conflict, and therefore it is important for our country to achieve all the goals of the special operation," the RT interlocutor concluded.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at a press conference following talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said that the West does not want to stop the conflict in Ukraine.

Lavrov also said that NATO is actually fighting on the side of Kiev, the alliance has nowhere deeper to get involved in the conflict.

Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that achieving Russia's goals in a political and diplomatic way in the case of Ukraine is impossible.
