The Civil Guard investigates the death of a young man, 16 years old, of his mother, a day later, without apparent signs of violence, so it is believed that they have suffered a possible poisoning, according to sources from the subdelegation of the Government in Segovia, have reported local media such as El Día de Segovia and El Norte de Castilla.

The father is seriously hospitalized in the ICU and two other daughters are doing well. The family home in Carbonero de Ahusín, in Segovia, has been sealed while the investigation is developed.

The 16-year-old, a high school student at the Claret school, went to the doctor on Saturday for an illness and died at home on Sunday. The next day, on Monday afternoon, the mother died.

The result of the autopsies will reveal the origin of the possible poisoning.

Sources of the Junta de Castilla y León have indicated that it has not opened any investigation for public health reasons.

The Court of First Instance and Instruction of Santa María la Real de Nieva coordinates the proceedings.
