It was on the night of March 19 that 10 cars were destroyed in the fire. It was several days after the fire before police technicians gained access to the fire scene, as there was an imminent risk that the building would collapse after the heavy fire.

Thanks to testimony, the police have a good picture of where the fire started, but if it is a technical fault or if someone started the fire, the police technicians cannot answer.

"It's very difficult with fires, we know where it started but not how. We don't have much more we can do right now," says Pia Westlund, head of the preliminary investigation.

"Not received any tips"

Police also have no suspects in the fire.

"We have also not received any tips, but it is still being investigated as arson as there was a real risk of spreading to the homes next door. The technicians believe that if the willow had been in a different direction, it would probably have spread, says Pia Westlund, head of the preliminary investigation.

The investigation is not closed yet and is still being investigated as suspected arson. Immediately after the fire, the police wanted to get in touch with possible witnesses – something they are still interested in.
