At kraftens hus you will be able to take part in lectures, conversation groups, creative activities or just a coffee. The center is aimed at people of all ages who have been affected in some way by cancer.
Executive Director Lotta Forsberg has worked with cancer care for a long time and testifies that the demand for social support has increased.
"More and more people are living with their cancer for a long time today and many are experiencing a gap when the care ends – and that's where we can take over," says Lotta Forsberg.
At the same time, there are a variety of cancer organizations, is this also needed?
"They are often aimed at one type of cancer and that's good because then you can delve into your own form of cancer. But then I think it's good to meet people who are in different processes as well. It broadens the perspective and that's how it will be here," says Johanna Ström.
