This was stated by the Russian Permanent Representative to the UN Vassily Nebenzia at a meeting of the UN Security Council.

He noted that there are "serious and very reasonable doubts about the objectivity and transparency of national investigations conducted by some European states."

The UN Security Council did not adopt a resolution proposed by Russia to establish a commission to investigate sabotage of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 pipelines.

Earlier, American investigative journalist Seymour Hersh in an interview with RT said that Washington threw a new version of the Nord Streams bombings into the media because the White House knows who staged the explosions and will not investigate these sabotages.

He noted that the US administration knows that the sabotage was arranged on the orders of US President Joe Biden.

Seymour Hersh previously published an investigation into US involvement in the undermining of Nord Streams.

Hersh's investigation claims that Nord Streams were mined by divers from the United States: they operated under the cover of the BALTOPS 22 exercises, which took place in the Baltic Sea from June 5 to June 17, 2022.
