Two Palestinians were wounded by Israeli army bullets on Monday during its raid into Aqbat Jabr camp in the eastern West Bank city of Jericho, and a third Palestinian was arrested and his two sons were killed last month.

At least five Palestinians were suffocated by tear gas and attacked by settlers in Huwwara town, south of Nablus.

According to eyewitnesses, settlers attacked civilians on the main street of the town in front of the eyes of the occupation soldiers, who fired tear gas canisters and bullets to oppress the Palestinians, and arrested at least two of them.

Settlers also stoned an ambulance while transporting the injured, shattering its front and side windows, while homes and properties of citizens in the town were damaged by stone-throwing by settlers.

Regarding the storming of Aqbat Jabr camp, the official Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that "a child and a young man were injured by bullets today, and another citizen was arrested, during the Israeli occupation forces' raid on the camp located south of Jericho."

The agency added that "the occupation forces stormed the camp and surrounded the house of Wael Awadat Al-Muqaiti before arresting him, who is the father of the two martyrs Raafat and Ibrahim Awadat."

It also stated that undercover operatives "(soldiers disguised as Palestinian civilian clothes) preceded the Israeli army's storming of the camp."

According to eyewitnesses, the Israeli occupation forces fired an Energia shell at the house before arresting Wael Awadat, the father of the two martyrs.

Wafa explained that the occupation army has withdrawn from the city and the camp for the time being, and the army did not issue an immediate comment on this operation.

A force of special units infiltrated the camp and surrounded the house, but a number of residents and resistance fighters discovered their matter, while the occupation forces introduced reinforced forces into the camp and surrounded the house.

Armed clashes also erupted between Palestinian militants and the Israeli army, and a boy was shot in the foot during the occupation repression of dozens of youths and boys who threw stones at soldiers.

It is noteworthy that the Israeli army killed Raafat and Ibrahim Awadat during its raid into Aqbat Jabr camp on February 6. Tensions have been rising sharply across the occupied West Bank for months, amid repeated Israeli military raids on Palestinian towns.
