Ramadan series began to be shown a few days ago, and of about 30 Egyptian series shown this year, comedy took the lion's share, so it was necessary to research the reactions and find out the most prominent works that attracted attention.
"Big Away 7". Overperformance
After an absence of years, the star Ahmed Mekki returned to the series "Big Oy" last year, a work that achieved huge success even greater than the expectations of its makers, and pumped to the audience and the drama industry new stars, led by Rahma Ahmed, Hatem Salah and Mustafa Gharib.
This is why it was the most awaited comedy work this year, and with the beginning of the current season's episodes, the series received many negative comments, due to the lack of a coherent dramatic plot, and the work turned into a set of repeated and reproduced clips (sketches) from the previous season, in addition to exaggerating the comedy provided by Rahma Ahmed in the role of Marbouha, through a contrived performance, a loud voice and movements that are not suitable for the nature of the work and do not serve it.
With the increase in attacks on the heroine and then the work, some artists claimed that what is happening is the result of paid electronic committees, referring to the targeting of the work by parties that do not want it to succeed and repeat what was achieved last year.

The star Ahmed Amin entered the hearts of the public for the first time thanks to the program "Plateau", which extended to the drama, so he presented small roles before starring in the series "The Will" with Akram Hosni, which increased his popularity.
Then he played the role of "Rifaat Ismail" in the series "Paranormal", then played the role of "Arafat" in the series "Ghamam Island" last Ramadan, in which he starred strongly, and Amin quickly returned to comedy through the series "The Whistle".
The work combines comedy and fantasy, and revolves around the idea of time travel; the hero stole an antique whistle that allows him to choose 3 minutes in his past and change what happened with it, then he returns to the present and his life has completely changed after what he changed in the past, and if he does not like his life, he can return to the same three minutes and make a new change, and so on.
The series is similar to Adam Sandler's "Click," a plot that, albeit repetitive, could be well invested if done intelligently. It can be said that the episodes presented so far are not bad, but they are not great either, it is at the level of "sketches" Ahmed Amin old, although longer than usual, which means that the work includes a smart material of comedy and jokes, although it did not reach the level of expectations.
Urgent examination. Comedy half ready
The series "Urgent Revelation" is a comedy that is only available on the "WATCH IT" platform, starring Mustafa Khater, Mohamed Abdel Rahman and Hanadi Mehni. His plot revolves around a hired killer who visits a psychiatrist in the hope of treatment, but the doctor gives him only two weeks to recover.
Despite the relatively good idea of the work, which is likely to fabricate funny situations, it is not distinguished either in comedy or acting performance, unlike the series "Al-Bayt Bayti" that Mustafa Khater recently presented with Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, and the audience is waiting for the second season.

After the success of the series "Sweet Dreams", which she participated in last Ramadan, which belongs to the category of "Light-Comedy", the star Yousra tried to repeat it this year with two current comedy stars, Mohammed Tharwat and Shaima Seif, and a group of young stars;

That the star Dina El-Sherbiny surpasses Ahmed Makki in comedy is a surprise that no one expected, as Dina participates this year in the series "Kamel Al-Number", a short work starring Sherif Salama and Esaad Younes, and revolves in an atmosphere similar to the old Arab film "Alam Eyal Eyal".
The heroine is a young woman divorced twice and has 4 children, while the hero is a widower and has 3 sons, and the two meet by chance and fall in love, but their responsibilities towards the children and their reckless decision to marry and merge the two families result in many funny situations, which the stars presented smoothly and lightly, especially with the presence of clear chemistry between the two heroes.
This was presented with visually pleasing direction, a soundtrack suitable for the spirit of the work, and most importantly a script and dialogue close to the heart, as it discussed important and sensitive social issues, but in a light and comedic way.
Other Series
Among the other comedy series, the series "Jet Salima" by Donia Samir Ghanem and Mohamed Salam, which revolves in a framework of fantasy and time travel, just like the series "The Whistle", and the difference is that Donia Samir Ghanem moves in time to the world of stories with a magical book that you read, and since the work consists of 15 episodes, it was decided to show it in the second half of the Ramadan.
As for the series "Game 4", its heroes promoted it before they surprised the audience by postponing the show until after Eid al-Fitr, and the third season was shown instead, although it was released on the "Shahid" platform a year ago.
Finally, the series "Excellence" by the star Mohamed Saad, which is shown on Al-Mehwar channel and a group of Arab channels away from electronic platforms, which I probably found unworthy of betting on, especially since the hero re-presents the character "Al-Hinnawi", which he had previously presented before and did not achieve much success.
Indeed, the work has not received any attention on social media platforms, neither positively nor negatively, and its protagonist himself has even stopped promoting it.
