Last June, a civilian car, in which a Ukrainian couple was travelling, was shelled at the Russian-occupied city of Izium. As they tried to escape the bullets, Andrej was hit in the head. In the documentary "Follow me", Valeria talks about how she received unexpected help from above – by a drone.

But with the help of it, Valeria managed to get to safety, thanks to a note with the text "Follow me" attached to the reconnaissance drone, something that SVT told about earlier.

Now Valeria tells in her own words about the drama in which she was forced to leave her gunshot wounded husband in a ditch for 30 hours before he could be rescued by the Ukrainian soldiers.

Here, Valeria Ponomarov talks about the rescue operation that saved the lives of her and Andrej.
