Maybe the name of Anna Terés does not sound to you but surely that of Anna easy recipes, a Youtube channel with which you have surely come across looking for a recipe to surprise. Behind dishes such as chickpea stew with spinach and cod, chorizo croquettes or egg pan with tomato, is an ilerdense based in Logroño who has become the reference of foodies (or eaters) who prefer to cook at home.

Anna's number of followers is enviable: she has four and a half million on Youtube and more than two on Instagram. His most famous video, with which he started, has 30 million views and is of a fluffy cake. Among his followers are Tamara Falcó, Lidia Bedman or the gastronomic critic José Carlos Capel.

Terés went on vacation with her friends to the north and there she met her husband, for whom she moved 20 years ago to Logroño, where she currently resides. Anna has shown that the profession of youtuber has no age although she declines to reveal hers "because it does not contribute anything". Her need to cook arose when she left her village for Lleida to study. Little by little he began to get carried away in the kitchen and the hobby became a profession. Before hanging up her apron, Anna graduated in Geography and History and in addition to working as a teacher she also worked as a salesman and in a real estate agency.

He launched his blog, annarecetasfaciles.com, in 2014 and in 2015 he became unemployed. She prepared some oppositions to be a teacher but saw so much competition that she opted to grow her blog. "I became unemployed and thought I had to try to start this project to see if I could make a living from it. It was difficult to record at home because at lunchtime I had to disassemble everything, prepare the food and reassemble it. Besides, my children were still young. The equipment I used was very basic so when the natural light went out I had to cut it until the next day." Anna admits that she was learning as she went. "I took care of editing, social networks, etc. I was self-taught. I come from a completely analog world, I studied my career without a computer, we did the work with the typewriter. I had to learn from scratch although it is true that my husband helped me a little because he does like technology."

Anna did well and therefore in 2017 she was able to set up a studio in which to record in a more professional way and thus leave the kitchen of her house. Her children are now 17 and 13 years old and are the envy of the class. "They see it as natural, they know the time it takes to be a youtuber, that what is uploaded gives a lot of work ... Now they are happy because they say 'how many followers does your mother have?' Sometimes they have to eat things they don't like but they also like to cook, I leave them."

This supplement tries to ask Anna what are the economic amounts that move with videos, collaborations with brands... But she doesn't reveal anything as a good influencer. "Nobody counts what they earn. For example, on the Youtube channel, advertising is placed on the videos and they give me the percentage that corresponds to me. It is the same system as a newspaper. Users receive the information for free and I charge brands that want to sponsor some of the recipes I make. It depends on the work, on the visualizations. tag. In the networks as we are exposed everyone wants to know what is gained. In August I posted a video every day but I didn't earn anything because the brands were on vacation and there were no collaborations."

ANNA VS CARLOS RIOS

His recipes are traditional, the antithesis of Carlos Ríos' porridge. Interest in this type of content is increasing. Not in vain EL MUNDO has just launched its cooking channel, Cooking. "There is an audience for everyone. In the same way that I can eat a plate of boiled vegetables and just another day I make some breads. You know what's healthy. The more fresh food the better, my ingredients are simple. They will tell me that quinoa is a superfood but I do not use it, having lentils, chickpeas ... It's a marketing issue."

The youtuber recognizes, on the other hand, that she tries to take care of herself. "I'm always on a diet in quotation marks, I have a tendency to gain weight. In my work I do not move, besides. Weight is the sum of what you eat minus what you spend. I eat everything but I measure the quantity. I never give advice on that, everyone who consults with their doctor. They have also offered me collaborations with miracle diets that I have always rejected because I do not want to recommend something that may be harmful to someone's health. I'm not going to advertise that the formula for weight loss is that and that people see my evolution. My evolution will surely be different from yours."

In the future, Anna sees herself setting up her own production company to continue creating content but she cannot imagine opening a restaurant.
