The press service of Roszdravnadzor TASS reported that earlier there was a notification from the manufacturer about plans to stop the supply of medicine to Russia.

The department noted that according to the law, any manufacturer of drugs must warn the Federal Service for Supervision of Healthcare a year in advance about the planned cessation of supplies.

"According to the working information from the manufacturer, Novo Nordisk will continue to supply the drug Ozempik to the territory of the Russian Federation until December 2023," the statement said.

The head of the Russian Ministry of Health Mikhail Murashko earlier said that there is no shortage of medicines in pharmacies.

In Roszdravnadzor reported an increase in prices for vital drugs.

Russian President Vladimir Putin also noted that drug prices have risen.
