The Advanced Command Post (PMA) has ordered the eviction of the towns of Montán and Arañuel and the evacuees will be housed in a shelter set up by the Red Cross in the municipality of Onda, as reported by Emergencias 112 of the Valencian Community, due to the advance of the fire originated this Thursday in Villanueva de Viver (Castellón).

Two buses have been sent to Montán and another two to Arañuel, and one of them will distribute to people in the Montán nursing home.

On the other hand, the Red Cross will set up a shelter in the municipality of Onda to receive those evicted from Arañuel.

About 430 ground troops remain in the area of the forest fire working "hard" throughout the night to try to "walk towards the stabilization of the fire" this Friday if weather conditions permit, and early in the morning 18 air will be incorporated, as confirmed by the president of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig.

The fire, as explained in statements to the media after attending a meeting of the WFP of the fire late on Thursday, has been "very voracious" at the beginning and has had a "very powerful" action that has caused that in "a short time" the perimeter has been between 800 and 1,000 hectares.

The fire has forced the eviction of the municipalities of Fuente la Reina, Los Calpes, Los Cantos, La Monzona, Puebla de Arenoso and Montanejos. With the sunset, the air assets have been withdrawn, which will be reincorporated at dawn, and the ground troops remain in the area.
