Intensive deliberations were held at the Budget Committee of the House of Councillors.
In response to a request by the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ) for the dismissal of Minister for Economic and Security Takaichi, who has called documents related to him "fabricated" over the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' administrative documents regarding the interpretation of "political impartiality" stipulated in the Broadcasting Law, Prime Minister Kishida refused, saying, "Sudden resignation is a leap of logic."

Taketo Iwamoto of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) asked about the domestic production of advanced semiconductors, saying, "It is said that Japan is 10 years behind the rest of the world Japan.

Prime Minister Kishida stated, "I welcome the steady progress, and the Government will make efforts to support the development of human resources and the strengthening of cooperation between related industries and local companies."

Noriko Ishigaki of the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ) called for Takaichi's dismissal of Minister for Economic and Security Affairs and Economic Security Takaichi's allegations that the administrative documents of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications related to him were "fabricated," saying, "I have to say that Minister Takaichi can no longer serve as a Cabinet minister, and keeping him as a Cabinet member could call into question the entire administrative ability of the Kishida Cabinet."

Prime Minister Kishida rejected the proposal, saying, "According to the results of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' scrutiny, the accuracy of the content could not be confirmed, and it is too logical to say that it will be replaced at the stage where we must continue to discuss the accuracy."
