"On the beautiful date of 23.03.23, despite the weekday, more than 700 couples got married in Moscow. This is 80% more than the average number of marriages in March on Thursdays. In the wedding palaces, the maximum number of solemn ceremonies took place, "the experts explained.
Also, 16 couples got married in the Spiridonov mansion, which was specially opened for marriage registration on a beautiful date.
The most popular for marriage on this day was the Meshchansky department of the registry office - 28 couples got married there.
In the Wedding Palace No. 1, 26 couples were married. Registration of marriage
in the Wedding Palace No. 3 was chosen by 25 couples.
Also in the Wedding Palaces No. 4 and 5, 23 solemn ceremonies were held.
Earlier it was reported that the State Duma adopted in the third reading amendments to Art. 50 of the Federal Law "On Acts of Civil Status", simplifying the procedure for registering children and marriages to participants in a special operation in Ukraine.
