The Mossos d'Esquadra investigate the death of a 25-year-old woman from Garcia (Tarragona) after finding her body on Thursday with signs of violence on an agricultural estate next to the N-420 road in Móra la Nova (Ribera d'Ebre). The agents were looking for her since the family reported her missing last night after not arriving home after leaving work. A court ordered the secrecy of the proceedings.
A farmer found this morning the lifeless body and the Mossos have deployed an operation to analyze the remains and the scene of the crime. The judicial delegation went to the area to lift the body.
At the moment, no hypothesis about the crime is ruled out, nor that it was a sexist crime. Police sources indicate that interrogations of the current couple and the victim's former partner have begun.
