– The company that has the alarms has during the night identified problems that require restarting the alarms and it may therefore take a few more hours before they work again, says Sven Tholén, development manager at the social administration and responsible for the municipality's social alarms.

The fault means that the alarm is currently down and users who need to alert the home care service cannot do so.

" All home care groups are now working to contact or go home to the users who often sound the alarm and who we see need supervision right now. We also address the public because we are not able to contact everyone. If you know that you have a loved one with a social alarm, it is good if you can call the relative and check that everything is fine, says Sven Tholén.
