The alarm came to the police at about 23pm and the incident is being investigated as aggravated robbery, aggravated assault, aggravated domestic violence and assault in court.
"The classification of aggravated assault is due to the rawness of the violence and the fact that there are several people who attack a person in his or her home," says police spokesman Dennis Johansson Strömberg.
The victim was allegedly "awake and speechless" when he was taken to hospital. Otherwise, the injury situation is unclear.
"We don't have any suspects at the moment and it's not clear what the perpetrators came across in the robbery.
The residence was cordoned off for technical examination.
