He recalled the UK's statement about plans to supply ukraine with ammunition with depleted uranium - similar to those used by the United States in Yugoslavia and Iraq, which led to contamination of the area, as well as to a sharp increase in cancer among people.

"A war to the last Ukrainian can become a war to the last European... This decision leads to a tragedy of a global scale, which will primarily affect European states," Volodin said.

According to the speaker of the State Duma, these deliveries may be followed by Kiev's use of a "dirty bomb" or even tactical nuclear weapons. Volodin stressed that if this happens, there will be no way back.

Earlier, a member of the British House of Lords, Minister of State for Defense of Great Britain Annabel Goldie said that London would send Kiev "ammunition, including armor-piercing ammunition containing depleted uranium."

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia will be forced to react if the collective West begins to supply Ukraine with weapons with a nuclear component.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, on Sputnik radio, commenting on Britain's intention to supply Ukraine with ammunition with depleted uranium, said that the British in this way will kill not only people now, but also future generations.
