No top rankings for Västerås when the student city of the year 2023 is appointed. Through its annual survey of 1,000 students, the student union has named the best and worst student city. Västerås ends up in 19th place overall. The best grades are given in the categories of the opportunity to find student accommodation and internships. And worst in the student life category where Västerås ends up in 30th place out of the country's 34 student cities on the list.
Stockholm, Malmö and Helsingborg top the list
Among the things they have asked about are career opportunities, student life, city life, housing and communications. In these categories, Stockholm tops the list, followed by Malmö and Helsingborg.
