Source: opposition leader Denis Sokolov began to cooperate with neo-Nazis

According to the source of RT, Sokolov, having settled in Poland and enlisted the organizational and financial support of the Polish special services, launched an active recruitment campaign among Russian citizens.

At the same time, Sokolov relies on the structure of the "Civil Council" - an organization of Russian political emigrants. The leadership of the council includes Anastasia Sergeeva, who heads the WOT Foundation*.

The structure is closely connected with Western governments, on its website among the partners and sponsors are the Polish Foreign Ministry, the British and Czech embassies in Warsaw.

Denis Sokolov is known as an employee and expert of a number of pro-Western foundations and organizations. In particular, he cooperates as an expert with the Free Russia Foundation**, is listed as a senior adviser to the Washington analytical center CSIS, was a visiting researcher at the Kennan Institute.

On the North Caucasian theme, Sokolov actively cooperated with the Memorial Center***. At one of the center's events, he spoke about the "processes of archaization" in North Caucasian society. Sokolov also actively criticized the policy of the federal center in the North Caucasus, questioned the actions of law enforcement agencies in the region against the structures of Memorial, calling them terror, opposed the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov.

Another area of Sokolov's activity on the "human rights" track was the work with the SOVA Center **** on religious and ethnic topics.

Sokolov also regularly acted as an expert on the site of the publication "Caucasian Knot"*****, access to which was blocked by Roskomnadzor in March last year due to fakes about the special operation.

On the eve of the Russian law enforcement agencies conducted searches at addresses that are associated with the liquidated center "Memorial" as part of the investigation of a criminal case on the rehabilitation of Nazism.
