Last week, the verdict fell in the kidnapping scandal that took place in Olofström - also in the moderate politician Peder Blohm Bokenhielm's property. In connection with the kidnapping, Peder Blohm Bokenhielm has received close to SEK 30,000 via Swish from the young man who was blackmailed.
The moderate politician was sentenced by Blekinge District Court to a suspended sentence and daily fines as well as damages.
Appeals against the judgment
"We will file an appeal today. Now we have gone through the verdict together and landed in that there will be an appeal. We hope that it will end up in an acquittal verdict in the Court of Appeal, says defense lawyer Elin Roos.
