– We will ensure that we have correct knowledge in the area and then we will make randomly selected checks at different places at different times to get as broad an impact as possible, says traffic police officer Björn Thunblad, who himself was surprised when the two cases of cheating were discovered.

"For those who are going to get a driving licence, it is certainly something that you have been longing for for a very long time, and then you should want everything to go right. To then choose to take shortcuts is not good. Because what is sidelined is traffic safety, says Björn Thunblad.

Private practice drivers

He believes that anyone who feels unsure of the rules that apply to practice driving should go to the Swedish Transport Agency's website and read up, or turn to, a traffic school.

"And we have not seen any shortcomings in our local driving schools, but these are primarily private actors," says Björn Thunblad.
