On Tuesday, the prosecutor brought charges of murder against the 73-year-old man, who is suspected of shooting dead a 71-year-old with a shotgun at Teleborg in Växjö.

The preliminary investigation shows how the 73-year-old spent five years on the sale of his house. A real estate deal that he regretted and felt indulged in – to the point that his life largely revolved around the thoughts of the house.

"I consider myself dead. I'm just a ghost who's been on earth for the last five years," the suspected man said in questioning.

The murder victim was the man's broker, whom he blamed for the affair and his own crashed life. The 73-year-old confesses to crimes.

The forensic psychiatric examination showed that he does not suffer from any serious mental disorder. But the Legal Council of the National Board of Health and Welfare will make a new assessment, at the man's own request.
