The Ministry of Health and Consumer Affairs of the Junta de Andalucía investigates a food poisoning suffered by 36 people after dining in a restaurant in Seville, of which seven of them had to be hospitalized both in the Andalusian capital and in Bilbao.

According to Health sources, in all those affected coincides the fact of having dined in the same restaurant in Seville on March 10, and, of the 36 affected, five were admitted in Bilbao, and two of them in Sevillian hospitals.

At the moment the origin of the outbreak is not confirmed or if it is due to salmonella poisoning, pending the results of the analyzes to the samples that have been collected.

The study is focusing on the analysis of meat, eggs and possible contagion by a previously infected food handler.

Those affected manifested pictures of malaise, fever, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, most of them mild, except for the seven admitted.
