It is noted that the parties condemn terrorism in all its manifestations. Russia and China also condemned the practice of interfering in the internal affairs of countries under the pretext of combating international terrorism and extremism, as well as attempts to use terrorist and extremist groups for geopolitical purposes.

"The parties are in favor of conducting an objective, unbiased, professional investigation of explosions on the Nord Stream gas pipelines," the statement said.

Earlier, Russian Permanent Representative to the UN Vassily Nebenzia said that Russia hopes to participate in an independent UN investigation of sabotage on Nord Streams.

Explosions on three lines of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline system occurred on September 26, 2022 near the Danish island of Bornholm.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that it is obvious to Russia that the responsibility for undermining Nord Streams lies with the United States.
