He recalled that the visit was postponed, not canceled.

In February, Blinken informed Chinese authorities of the decision to postpone his visit to the country due to the situation with the alleged reconnaissance Chinese balloon detected in American airspace.

He added that he would visit Beijing "when circumstances allow."
