In his address, the parliamentarian noted that against the background of a special military operation in Ukraine, announcements began to appear in social networks about those wishing to undergo and conduct private military training courses.

According to the legislator, this initiative of citizens should be supported at the state level, including in terms of conducting free courses in military and medical training by professionals.

These courses can not only give citizens useful skills in the field of military affairs and medicine, but also educate such qualities of character as patriotism and courage, Sukharev noted.

"I ask you to instruct to consider the above proposal and provide the official position of the Government of the Russian Federation on the possibility of organizing free courses on military and medical training (a course for a young fighter) for everyone, including on the basis of DOSAAF of Russia," the text of the appeal says.

Earlier, the State Duma proposed to establish a badge of distinction for volunteers helping the Russian military in the SVO zone.
