Goran Persson sits in his tractor and drives away the snow that lies on Vildmannavallen's artificial turf. He estimates that there is much more snow this year than the other years. This means that the municipality expects that it will take longer than normal to get the plans playable.

"Two years ago there was also a lot of snow, but I think there has been a lot more this year," says Göran Persson, machine operator at Umeå Fritid.

Takes days

He estimates it takes four to five days to shovel a football field with so much snow.

"It depends on how you're going to transport the snow from the pitch. Sometimes we may be able to ship far. We are usually out in Holmsund at Sjöfruhallen, where you have to carry quite a long distance and then it takes much longer, says Göran Persson.

The shooting began last week and will last until week 16.
