• ERC survey sinks and leaves the mayor of Barcelona in a hand-to-hand Trias-Collboni
  • Elections Feijóo distances himself from Sánchez and compensates for the blow of Vox

Carlos García Carbayo will be able to continue at the head of the City Council of Salamanca, but with a change of coalition partners. In the appointment with the polls on May 28 Vox will debut in the hemicycle with three councilors, while Citizens (Cs), current partner of the mayor of the PP, will manage to keep one of its four representatives in the best of scenarios for the orange formation, although there is also the possibility that it will be left out.

This is the electoral photo that Sigma Dos has made for EL MUNDO, which also shows a drop in voting intention of the PSOE – from 34% to 31.7% – that could make him lose one of his 10 current councilors. In any case, there are no options for an alternative left-wing majority, since the sum of IU and Podemos, which will compete together in the elections, would only manage to maintain its two seats in the municipal plenary.

Despite its internal convulsion on account of the celebration of the provincial congress of the party, whose non-convocation was appealed before the Justice by a group of militants, the PP would win the elections again increased by three tenths its support – from 36.1% to 36.4%, which would allow it to go from 11 to 12 councilors. On the other hand, the formation that sustains him in the Government collapses -from 15.5% to 5.2%-, so, even if Cs achieved representation by the minimum, García Carbayo would need the support of the Santiago Abascal party to be invested again.

The majority of those consulted in the Sigma Dos survey, prepared from 512 interviews conducted between March 10 and 16, consider that the management of the City Council of Salamanca is good or very good (39.3%), compared to 22.4% who believe it is bad.
