"We take it calmly, we carefully fix everything, we continue to work. The president continues, most importantly, to work," he said.

Peskov urged not to take such statements "to heart."

On March 18, the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Karim Khan, said that the court's order against Putin was regrettable.

The representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that no decisions of the ICC are important for Russia, including from a legal point of view.

According to the Russian Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzia, Russia considers any documents of the ICC null and void and illegal.

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that the ICC warrant would lead to monstrous consequences for international law.
