"One heavy mountain, two heavy mountains, Fengming Biji Mountain; The inner mountain chicken called the outer mountain to listen, and the three more dreamed of whom. One heavy mountain, two heavy mountains, old wine with dried powder; The fragrance wafts out of the north and south poles, and who crosses whom in one boat in the two places..."

The theme song of the 19th Straits Youth Festival Lianjiang County Special Theme Activity and the <>th Fuzhou Language Song Pushing Newcomer Singing and Composition Competition "Lishan Outer Mountain" was sung in Kuilongfang, Lianjiang County, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province on the evening of the <>th, and the singing was gentle and lingering in the ancient rhyme and alleys.

Located in Fuzhou City, Lianjiang County and Matsu across the sea, Lianjiang jurisdiction of Huangqi Town is only 20 minutes away from Matsu's Beigan Island by ferry, Huangqi and Matsu are separated by water, also known as "Lishan" and "Outer Mountain". "Lishan chicken called outer mountain listening", "old wine with dried powder", "aroma wafts out of the north and south poles"... The word of the song expresses the heart of "Lianma family".

"The song writes a scene where Huang Qi and Matsu are dressed in water, compatriots on both sides of the strait have the same living habits, and people on both sides of the strait hear each other." Lai Dongfang, a musician in Fuzhou and chairman of the Fuzhou Language Song Association, is one of the singers of "Inside the Mountains and Outer Mountains". According to him, the song began to be written in August last year and took half a year to complete.

Since 2006, Lai Dongfang has been committed to promoting Fuzhou songs and becoming a "tammer" of native language songs. He said that the Fuzhou Language Song Association and Matsu villagers have worked together to cherish each other for more than ten years, and musicians on both sides of the strait have formed deep friendship and good cultural accumulation.

It is reported that in 2014, 2016 and 2018, respectively in Fuzhou, Matsu and Malaysia successfully held three Fuzhou language song promotion newcomer singing and writing competitions, each session has Matsu compatriots participate in the competition. During the finals of the 11th Fuzhou Song Push Newcomer Singing and Composition Competition, Matsu also submitted <> video entries through the Internet.

"One comes and goes", the relationship can be deepened day by day. Lai Dongfang revealed that relevant people in Matsu have invited him to Matsu many times to collect style. He composed Fuzhou songs such as "Bird Fly", "Blue Tears" and "Two Hiccups and One Song" that were spread in both places, and the song "Bird Flying Bird" was widely sung by Matsu and Fuzhou children.

"Today's children are getting further and further away from their mother tongue, and children are reluctant to speak or learn." The famous Chinese song producer Chen Jianping is the "Golden Ear" recording engineer of the famous treasure island in Taiwan. When he saw that the 22th Fuzhou Chinese Song Push Newcomer Singing and Composition Competition had 19 groups of young contestants and <> constituent contestants participating, Chen Jianping felt that he saw "hope".

Originally from Fuzhou, Chen Jianping has a different affection for Fuzhou songs. He said that due to factors such as environment and education, fewer and fewer people speak dialects. Fuzhou is now facing this situation, as is Hokkien.

"Dialects have their fun and beautiful places." Chen Jianping and Lai Dongfang, who has been engaged in the creation and promotion of Fuzhou songs for many years, have cherished each other, and have also cooperated many times in music activities.

Taiwanese singer Tang Youlin, who has been "landing" for 8 years, has become a "native of New Fuzhou", and he regards Lai Dongfang as a "beloved teacher" and admires his "persistence and resilience". Tang Youlin told reporters that teacher Lai Dongfang has been engaged in the creation and promotion of Fuzhou songs for a long time, which is very valuable.

"I'm also trying to fuse Hokkien and Fuzhou to create a song, hoping to collide with new sparks." Tang Youlin bluntly said that language is a very wonderful art, each dialect has its own rhyme, you have to write songs according to different rhymes, which is a very interesting process.

"It's a very good thing to pass on the dialect through music." Tang Youlin said that whether it is Hokkien or Fuzhou songs, it is very necessary to promote local cultural songs, which is conducive to the inheritance and innovation of dialect culture. In addition, musicians on both sides of the strait can also promote the integrated development of the cross-strait music industry through music exchanges. (End)
