According to RIA Novosti, on Friday in Moldova, for the first time since 2019, a general meeting of judges of the republic was held, at which new members of the Supreme Council of Magistracy (HSC) and the Supreme Court of Justice were to be approved. At the same time, the members of the council could not agree, so they postponed the meeting to April 28.

In turn, the Security Council of Moldova, headed by Sandu, on March 20 decided that the composition of the HSR should be approved within 30 days.

As stated in the Party of Socialists, interference in the activities of the judiciary is a criminal offense.

"The Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova strongly condemns the pressure exerted by President Maia Sandu and her pocket party "Action and Solidarity" on the judiciary in the Republic of Moldova," the political force said in a telegram channel.

Earlier, the leader of the opposition party "Shor" Ilan Shor in an interview with RT said that Western politicians who come to Moldova promise residents "milk rivers", and in fact the people can not even pay utility bills and are deprived of freedom of speech.
