Foreign Affairs magazine proposed to create an analogue of NATO for the introduction of Western troops into Ukraine

The journal is published by the American NGO Council on Foreign Relations.

The authors of the article believe that such an organization, which is proposed to be called the Atlantic-Asian Security Community, can include many NATO countries, Ukraine, its allies and any neutral countries.

The material says that the short-term goal of this community may be to legitimize the indefinite presence of military personnel from Western countries on Ukrainian territory. According to the authors, the Western military will also have to monitor the implementation of any peace agreement and train the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Earlier, the Polish ambassador to France, Jan Emerick Rosciszewski, said on the LCI TV channel that if Ukrainian troops could not "defend their independence", then Warsaw would have to enter into a conflict.

Russian leader Vladimir Putin during his address to the Federal Assembly said that it is impossible to defeat Russia on the battlefield.

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev warned that if the question of the existence of Russia itself seriously arose, it would not be resolved in Ukraine.
