Hani Bilal Madi is the chairman of the association For the People that operates in Vivalla. After the riot in Örebro, he made sure that young people cleaned up in Sveaparken. He was recognized nationally for his commitment and received the award as Role Model of the Year 2022.
During the cleaning of the park, Hani Bilal Madi handed out flowers to affected homeowners – and to the police.
"We wanted to show love for them," said Hani Bilal Madi in an interview with SVT.
Denying a crime
Two days earlier, he himself had thrown stones at the police during the riot in Sveaparken, according to the indictment. In January this year, he was arrested on suspicion of aggravated sabotage of blue-light activities. He was charged along with five other men and a woman. Hani Bilal Madi denies any wrongdoing.
Today, Monday, came the verdict.
