After just over two years without a car inspection, Arjeplogarna will now be able to take part in a mobile inspection station for six weeks this summer.
"We think this is going to be great. We have recruited staff who are excited for the task," says Tord Fornander.
These vehicles can be inspected
The vehicles that will be inspected are passenger cars, light trucks, caravans, trailers, motorcycles and quad bikes up to a maximum of 3,500 kilograms. In total, there are about 2,300 light vehicles in Arjeplog, of which almost 1,800 will be inspected annually.
"During our six weeks, we expect to have time to inspect all vehicles," says Deputy CEO Tord Fornander.
