Even before the game, the captains of both finals teams were critical of the decision to let the ladies play Friday night – and the men Saturday afternoon.

"It will be the women's final that will be affected, unfortunately," Agnes Ögren, captain of Villa Lidköping, told SVT at the time.

And she was right. The attendance figures for the women's match as well as the men's were lower than what the newly added organizer Bandyförbundet had expected – 2800 visitors to the women's final and 12,400 to the men's.

Policing

Despite partying and a high atmosphere before the matches, the crowd largely stayed in check. This is the opinion of the police, who sum up the bandy weekend as calm, something the Bandy Association highlights as a strength.

"We work very hard with our values for everyone who is part of the bandy," says Secretary General Pär Gustafsson.
